The Journey

Meditation with the Mother

This journey started many moons ago. But life happens and I had to make room for growth, learning, and experience. As the universe will have its way. “When the student is ready, the teacher shall appear.”

Over a decade ago, JAMARA became a thought. A thought I became fixated upon and couldn't get out of my mind. I had a vivid dream on what it was supposed to be. The problem, how was I going to make this happen?

For years, I researched the industry, manufacturers, made contacts, and almost took a trip out of the country to visit a textile mill!

But, I just couldn’t connect the dots. Nothing was falling into place as it should. Finding the right manufacturer to produce the bedding with minimums that made sense for a startup like myself was impossible.

So, I did as any other entrprenuer would do. I started a different venture. Then a different venture after that. The pattern just repeated itself over and over. Some endeavors brought success while others brought invaluable experience.

But, I noticed with each venture, I was always thinking of what’s next. Until one day, I stopped. Examined self and began to make changes.

Now as self became aligned with intent and purpose. So did the details and fruition of JAMARA. This time around everything flowed and fell into place. When I needed something, the answer appeared effortlessly.

It was there all along. Waiting on me when I was ready.

As the universe will have its way. “When the student is ready, the teacher shall appear.”
